Yes.EcoHaus laundry sheet variants were tested by the Technical University of Liberec laboratory using OECD 301 F methodology. The whole product was dissolved in a standard test medium with microorganisms from a wastewater treatment plant. After 28 days, all tested variants exceeded the 70% threshold used in the report to classify the product as biodegradable. Results ranged from 82.33% to practically complete biodegradation. (The variants were Unscented, Divine Lavender, Meadow Flowers, Cotton Magic, Sea Breeze and versions for black laundry.)

Yes. One sheet is enough for normally dirty laundry; for a large load, we recommend 1.5–2.

The sheets keep well, but it is best to close the packaging. Feedback shows that very damp conditions may moisten the packaging, but the sheets themselves continue to work without problems.

Yes, they work well for everyday washing. For better wool and silk care, we also offer a special range of laundry sheets.

The product contains surfactants for effective washing. Under the applicable classification, it carries hazard statement H412: “Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.” We therefore advise against discharging wash water directly into the natural environment.

The sheets work well from 30°C. Customers often report trying 30°C for the first time and finding their laundry “as clean as at 60°C”.

No. Although our sheets are readily biodegradable, they are not intended for direct discharge into natural aquatic ecosystems. However, biodegradability does not mean immediate harmlessness to aquatic organisms. We therefore recommend using the product only in a normal wastewater system where biological treatment subsequently takes place.

No. If this does happen on a rare occasion, it is usually because the machine is overloaded. Simply place the sheet at the bottom under the laundry.

No. Sheets dissolve completely without residue. They also do not clog dispensers like liquid or powder detergents.

Because all-purpose does not mean one formula must contain absolutely everything.

Regular sheets remain a versatile choice for everyday cotton, synthetic and mixed-fibre laundry. Special versions have formulas adjusted for particular laundry or issues, such as sweat and sebum in sportswear, sensitive animal fibres or visible greying of dark laundry.

This does not mean regular sheets have stopped working. A special version is most useful when you wash a particular type of laundry often and want a formula focused on it.

If you mainly wash everyday clothes, regular sheets are enough. Choose a special version based on your wardrobe and the laundry issues you face most often:

• sportswear sheets for frequently worn sports and synthetic clothing,
• wool and silk sheets for sensitive animal fibres,
• black laundry sheets for regular washing of black and dark clothes.
