Our story and sustainability

A simple, quality, and eco-friendly solution that was born from the heart of one woman, Petra Doubková. As they say, behind every great thing, there's a woman!

At the beginning of the story was a pile of laundry gels, scented beads, fabric softeners, and other fragrant stuff that cluttered a small bathroom. It was ready to clog the washing machine, make a dent in the wallet, and settle into clothes. On the path to minimalism and inspired by nature, the idea was born.

Environmental sustainability

The packaging and the product contain no plastics.

If everyone in the Czech Republic recycled paper, we would save a total of 8 thousand tons of plastic waste per year.

Packaging material

The packaging material is FSC certified, which means that we support fair wood cultivation. The glossy layer of the box prevents the papers from getting damp, which extends their shelf life.

Emission

The product is up to 98% lighter and smaller than traditional laundry detergents. During transport there are not as many emissionsas with the transportation of laundry gels and powders.

Chemistry

The product is less chemically demanding than regular detergents. It's a gentler choice for washing.

We minimize printed materials.

In the interest of protecting the environment we are sending the invoice electronically. Thanks to this we will save thousands of sheets of paper each year.

Does not contain water

Laundry sheets don't contain unnecessary filler materials, like water, which makes up to 90% of laundry gel. Save these natural resources with us!

It will dissolve to the last little piece.

EcoHaus laundry sheets are 100% biodegradable.

We don't test on animals.

Animal welfare is also important to us, which is why we pay attention to the quality of ingredients and also do not test on animals.

We are constantly educating ourselves and keeping an eye on trends.

Ecology is our passion, which is why we are educating ourselves in a specialized enviro incubator @ClimAccBeyond and an accelerator Start it@ČSOB.

Tuning the paper so that it only contained really necessary substances, was gentle on nature, but also on the skin of atopic individuals, while also washing away dirt and smelling nice, was a science. Petr succeeded. Now, with our brand, we are fulfilling our next, quite modest, goals.

We are unique in every inch.

We secured our start thanks to crowdfunding. This allowed us to be independent, passionately promote our vision, and collaborate with people who share the same mission. In the campaign, we pre-sold 1000 packs of laundry sheets for 700 people.

Our goal is simple – to bring joy to everyone and change the way we think about laundry. We believe that quality care is not about the number of products, but about efficiency and consistency. That's why Petra developed the only product you need, and it's definitely not the last one.
