Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) is a great helper in the household. Few people know that it effectively dissolves limescale and helps clean stubborn deposits.

Usage: Dissolve the salt in water and apply this mixture to the areas you want to remove limescale. Let it sit for a while, then rinse and wipe. You can also make a more effective cleaner by carefully mixing Epsom salt and liquid dish soap in a 1:1 ratio.

Pour a handful of salt directly down the drain, pour hot water over it, and let it sit for several hours or overnight.

Sprinkle salt at the bottom of the trash can, which will help neutralize unpleasant odors.
